For Valentina D\u2019Urso, a project is not finished simply because it has been delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of the time, everything goes exactly as expected. But some things only reveal themselves later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A yacht may return after six months of use and need an adjustment. A detail may need to be corrected or looked at again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The response is simple: call us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And sometimes, that call comes much sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On one project, Ship & Chic had produced embroidered beach towels carrying the yacht\u2019s logo. The fabric had been specifically treated to resist fading and all the expected supplier checks had been carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eight days later, the Captain called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The colour had faded dramatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The towels were replaced within five days using new fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The episode also changed the way Valentina approached quality control. From then on, certain materials would be checked again internally, even when the supplier had already carried out its own controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is precisely in moments like these that responsibility becomes tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not because problems should be expected, but because when something does happen, the client should not be left wondering who will take care of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same principle applies months later, when a yacht returns after a season and something needs adjusting, repairing or simply looking at again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the years, many clients have remained with Ship & Chic for a long time. Captains change, crews change and yachts evolve, but the underlying expectation remains the same: knowing that the people who worked on the project are still there afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only when there is something new to create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also when something simply needs to be put right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is what responsibility beyond delivery means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not promising that nothing will ever happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
